Property Legal Assistant – Bolton Office
Candidates should be flexible in their approach and will have:
- Previous experience in residential & commercial property.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Good knowledge of all Office programs.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and third parties.
Duties will include:
- Providing quotations to prospective clients.
- Completing file opening procedures and preparing client care letters.
- Conduct AML checks via Thirdfort.
- Land Registry searches and applications via the Land Registry portal.
- Address Land Registry requisitions.
- Submit searches and submit SDLT returns.
- Calculate stamp duty obligations.
- Ensure timely closure of completed files.
- Prepare bills and completions statements.
- Prepare commercial leases using precedent documents and PLC resources.
- Reception/switchboard experience, or a willingness to learn, to cover holiday/sickness would be advantageous but is not essential.
Hours of work: 9:00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive with 1 hour lunch break.
Salary: National Minimum Wage for age.
